Trollvann Nordmarka Forest Oslo - Trollvann om vinteren/Troll Lake in the winter

Tucked deep within Nordmarka Forest, Trollvann is just a stone’s throw from the bustle of Oslo, yet feels worlds away. Easily reached by forest trails or via the downhill ski slope on the far side of the lake, in winter, it morphs into something out of a fairy tale.  Dense fog and mist weaves it way through the canopy and hangs low in an opaque smoky haze that blankets over the lake.
